On Saturday November 7th, the Arizona Ghostbusters participated in their 3rd local MS Walk. The walk was 5 miles around the Phoenix Zoo, Botanical Gardens and surrounding park. This is the longest walk we participate in and completed it in full gear as always. We set our booth up to collect some last minute donations and handed out our custom MS Walk buttons. Our local 501st Stormtrooper Garrison was on hand as well celebrating their 10th year participating in the walk. Due to a power failure at the walk area, we were able to lend a helping hand by pulling the Ecto up to the starting line and allowing the walk organizers to use the cars built-in loudspeakers to make their announcements. We raised $1000 total in donations and is the most we've been able to raise for a single walk in along time. As a thanks to our participation over the years, our logo was placed on the back of the official walk shirts. It was a blast and as always we can't wait till next year's walk. We'd like to thank walk organizer Carol Czerniski for having us out again.

On Friday November 6th, 2009 we hosted a fundraising booth at the 1st Friday Art Walk in downtown Phoenix. This was also the first time we brought the Ecto-AZ to the event. The car was an instant hit with the crowds. Thanks to a new set up at the event the street infront of our booth was closed to host artist booths which helped improve traffic flow. Thanks to attendees we raised an additional $300 for the MS Walk on November 7th, 2009. We'd like to thank everyone who stoped by our booth to say hello and make a donation.

On Halloween 2009, the Arizona Ghostbusters helped out at the Phoenix Symphony's Trick Or Treat Concert. The concert was aimed at families and featured many pre-show activities like a costume contest and instrument petting zoo. Our team mingled with crowds in the lobby for pictures and passed out Arizona Ghostbusters stickers. It ended up being a full house for the concert. The finale of the concert was the Ghostbusters theme. Our team came through the audience doing the Real Ghostbusters dance and then went up on stage to lead the audience in singing along. The conductor wore a different costume for each song and was naturally a ghost during the finale. At the conclusion of the song we chased him off stage and reappeared with a trap. It was awesome to see the crowd get involved. The event was also the debut of Matt Sremaniak's Slime Blower. He has been building it the last several months with Todd and Neal. We'd like to thank the Phoenix Symphony for inviting us to come out and participate in the concert.

On Thursday October 29th and Friday October 30th, 2009, the Arizona Ghostbusters appeared at the Phantom Manor Haunted House. The Phantom Manor collects entrance donations to go towards Habitat For Humanity. The team posed for pictures with attendees and would make the occassional sweep of the inside of the house. The event was also the first public appearance of the Ecto-AZ. We'd like to thank everyone who stopped by the house throughout the month and Phantom Manor for having us come out to help.
