The origins of the Arizona Ghostbusters begins nearly 40 years ago when co-founder Matt Haynes 1st suited up in 1989.

In October 2000 using an old Kenner Real Ghostbusters proton pack, co-founder Jeff Lewis suited for the 1st time in gear. Soon after, Jeff was part of the Indiana Ghostbusters.

The team has been proudly servicing the Phoenix metro area and other communities in the great state of Arizona ever since. In 2016 the team took a giant leap and became a full 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. Since our founding, our members have been volunteering throughout the Phoenix metro area and across the state of Arizona. In addition to our members whom reside in the Phoenix  area serving communities in the Valley of the Sun, we have members servicing the Tucson metro area, and the Flagstaff, Prescott, and the Verde Valley communities.

Proudly a member of Ghost Corps, our Ghostbusters team of volunteers is bound together by our mutual love for the Ghostbusters license in all of its forms. Our Ghostbusters gear allows us to draw extra attention to many well deserving fellow 501c3 organizations and charities that have partnered with us. Since forming in 2007, the smiles and joy that our costumes have generated help us give to the community and create a meaning and purpose to the group because “bustin makes me feel good.”
